• No harassment, hate speech, bullying, or disruptive behavior in classes, chats, or forums.
• No sharing of personal data of minors in public channels. Use private guardian channels for sensitive details.
• No cheating, plagiarism, or unauthorized collaboration on assessments where individual work is required.
• No reverse engineering, scraping, or unauthorized access to our systems or content.
• Respect class schedules, instructors, and other learners; be punctual and prepared.

We may suspend or terminate access if these rules are violated.

2) Enrollment & Accounts

Enrollment may be completed by a parent/guardian. Accurate information is required to ensure safe and appropriate placement.

• Guardians are responsible for fees, attendance, and communications for enrolled learners.
• You must promptly update contact details and emergency information if they change.
• Account credentials must be kept confidential. Notify us immediately of suspected unauthorized access.
• Placement prerequisites may include age, skill level, or completion of prior modules.

We reserve the right to accept or refuse enrollment to maintain a safe learning environment.

3) Payments, Billing, and Refunds

Fees are listed at time of purchase and may vary by program. By enrolling, you authorize charges to your selected payment method.

• Prices include applicable taxes where required by law unless stated otherwise.
• Installments or subscriptions renew automatically until canceled according to plan terms.
• Late or failed payments may result in temporary suspension of access.
• Refunds: unless a specific program policy states otherwise, unused sessions within 14 days of purchase may be refundable on a pro‑rata basis, minus processing fees.
• Chargebacks initiated without first contacting support may result in account suspension.

4) Intellectual Property

All course materials, lesson plans, videos, and platform content are owned by PeacefulCreek Kids Code or our licensors and protected by applicable IP laws.

• You receive a limited, non-transferable license to access content for personal, non-commercial learning.
• No reproduction, distribution, public display, or derivative works without written permission.
• Student-created work remains the student’s property. You grant us a limited right to showcase anonymized work for educational or promotional purposes unless you opt out.

5) Privacy & Data

We collect and process only the data necessary to provide our services, such as guardian contact details, learner names, and class progress metrics.

• We minimize collection of personal data for minors and apply strict access controls.
• We use analytics to improve services where consented. You can adjust preferences via the cookie panel.
• Data retention follows educational and regulatory best practices. You may request deletion where applicable.

6) Community Guidelines

We cultivate a welcoming, inclusive environment for learners of all backgrounds.

• Use clear, kind language; assume positive intent and ask for clarification when needed.
• Respect personal boundaries in voice/video sessions; disable recording unless permitted.
• Follow instructor directions during pair or group activities.

7) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We strive for high uptime and quality instruction, but we do not warrant that services will be uninterrupted, timely, or error‑free.

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
• Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; where prohibited, these limits may not apply to you.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where not permitted by law.

8) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breaches of these Terms or if required by law. You may cancel enrollment according to program rules.

• We will provide notice where reasonable and an opportunity to respond.
• Upon termination, your right to access services ceases immediately, except where ongoing access is required by law.

9) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of your local jurisdiction, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles, except where a specific program specifies a governing venue.

10) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect service changes, legal requirements, or safety improvements.

• We post the effective date at the top of this page.
• Material changes will be communicated through in‑app notices or email to guardians.
• Continued use of services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
